Hey guys,

since so many topics are about inbalance pvp or whatever else i wanted to let u kno that i am new to this game and really enjoying it.

I thought after World of Warcraft no MMO could get ma attention anymore but ESO does !

Its great designed i love the combat system and quests/pvp/dungeons are awesome too. I dont know about end content yet but so far its an awesome game to me !
There was always inbalance in pvp games but there is also ( my experience) a way to still succeed against whatever class or so.

Concur... I've been in for about since it came out and have played about 2 days a week of this game and I've got to say it's a lot of fun. I don't get what all the sheet talking is about.... Game's great in my mind. It's no WoW, but you know, nothing ever will be!

WoW had something other games don't: it doesn't take its self too seriously. It's cartoony, but not too cartoony. It's corny, but not too corny. It's the goldilocks game of the century and we'll never see it's like again most likely.

Agreed. ESOTU has that fresh, "new" feeling that I yearned for in MMOs for over a decade now. It's a game that begs to have every corner of its world to be explored.

I don't feel that with MMOs anymore other than ESOTU now, to be honest, and I'm not saying that out of my passion for the Elder Scrolls series, either.

The difference here is that ESO was designed to be a spinoff from the very outset of the Elder Scrolls series (WoW was intended as a sequel to Warcraft III, essentially, which is why we may never see a Warcraft IV in the sense that people would want...which is something that directly picks up from the events of Warcraft III). Its release as an MMO was never intended by the devs to affect development of the next single player Elder Scrolls game, and it never did. Another thing is that it doesn't mess with the actual lore of the series; it just makes changes to suit its own gameplay style, and those changes make sense for the type of game that ESO is, in my opinion.

I think that's why I appreciate ESO much more as an MMO than I did for other game adaptations from before---because I know it doesn't affect the development of other games in the series, and it also aims to keep as true to its roots as possible.

Give it about 2 years or so and console players will probably start complaining as much or close to it as PC players do lol

Indeed though this game is great albeit a few quirks but hey what MMORPG doesn't have those?

When a certain class can do one of the highest dps/out tank tanks and have the highest mobility all in one, thats unbalanced :pensive:
