Having finished the main storyline, which was pretty good in my opinion, though a tad short. Moving along from Ebonheart to Daggerfall Covenant, which seems more polished, though that could be veteran areas in general. Can't help but wonder about the main sub-plot, Malog Bal is defeated, but Civil War still rages on with no foreseeable conclusion. Hopefully Imperial City addresses this, also there is really no impact from Imperials, who continue populating Cyrodiil for another thousand years. Sure there are imperials around, but as a player in the war, they are strangely absent overall.
But I digress. With no conclusion to war seems we are missing a natural divide of lower and higher characters, not to mention the possibility of some sweeping changes to the world we occupy. If the war was resolved, and peace in that area, allowing us to focus on coming Daedric Princes threats which doubtful still involve the war. Doing this could allow for changes to the areas we already tackled. And to see the changes we influenced. Imagine going back to Camlorn as it is being rebuilt, or to see the plains in Stonefall coming back to life. The vines in Glenumbra gone away, the potential to make the old new again. With the veteran areas on top of the older areas already, the possibility is there.
I know, random. But with some of the discussions on these boards, ranging from guild halls, player based communities, Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood to name a few, this would make for an interesting idea, an evolving game with an evolving world
