I played Morrowind & Oblivion on pc and was hooked by those worlds. Playing ESO with all the dialogue, graphics, skill progressions, social interaction, and everything just flows.
The best advice I got when I asked the pc players before the release was to take my time and that is absolutely 100% true.
The character I started with when I first began playing I took to level 10 & then stopped and started another. I'm not sure why other than level ten seemed like a good number, but I was being too rigid. If there is one lesson to be taken away when a playng ESO, it is relax, enjoy the game. But back on topic, I played my next two character through the prison, the starting areas, and first zone. The stories from all the factions are really good. The lands are so cool. Learning how to play my Sorcerer, my Nightblade, and my Templar has been alot of fun and I play them really well.
Back on topic, I went back to my Sorcerer (the very first character I played) and to see how I had rushed and what I missed out on was apparent the moment I got back into playing her. So I went all the way back and got her up to speed and current with the story, the main quest, the guild quests, her skills, and her actions. I thought I was taking my time but I was still rushing and missed out on alot.
This ties in with my next point and that is that even with two other characters finishing their first zones and moving on with the story and guild quests into the next zones, I still should probably go back and do some fishing (which I haven't done at all) and go back over the areas once more before getting too wrapped up in the next zones and trying to keep from getting the tunnel vision that so many other games inflict you with.
ESO is so very cool. It has depth. Technology has finally caught up with ZOS's vision and the two have released a game that is just awesome.
ZOS, keep up the great work. Don't listen to the milk drinkers crying. I like the challenges and having to put time in to work towards getting something.
You're doing just fine.
Thank you ZOS for a great first month of playing ESO, with many, many, many, many, many, more.
Cheers.
