Killed due to a bug

There is a bug in the high elf starter area. I went into that building to confront the assassin who was trying to kill the queen and I couldn't fight. The guy with me didn't help. He stood there frozen. My sword went through them like it was invisible. I couldn't cast any spells but healing. I couldn't leave. This went on until I died.

It makes me want to start over. I don't want to die this early. I hope ESO don't keep a kill counter and if it does I think this death should be removed from my character because it's messed up.

Anyway, just thought I would report the bug.

Yeah. Had the total loss of combat, skill lines & running after being attacked while fishing. Only thing I could do at the time was to walk away slowly. Fortunately I could get far enough away the enemy stopped attacking. This has occurred since the last update, for me.

About half my deaths in this game are due to bugs crashes and just flat out being disconnected from the server even when my connection itself is fine. But no i dont think they keep track of death count.

If no death count is kept then it makes absolutely no difference. Bugs still suck though. It happened early so I didn't lose durability but later on it would suck to get killed for nothing.

Get used to it. This type of bug/crash is my main cause of death in this game.
