Did I miss the memo on stealing coins?

I been stealing since the justice system started, and I just noticed, two days ago, that there are now coins on top of the small cabinets and tables that you can steal. I used to ignore coins because that were usually just a tease that I couldn't interact with. So far I only been getting between 12 and 24 gold, but I'll take what I can get. Is this something new?

✭✭There was no memo, but it was, I guess a silent update. One day you could not interact with them, the next you could. Been stealing them for a few months now.

✭Of what I've seen it came with the Justice System, but I can't find it in the patch notes. Yeah, I remember checking all the gold piles in there, too. Some of them ARE stealable, though

The skeleton cursed pirate ship in coldharbour had them when I went through on Xbox.. also a few lootable crates ... so that was a bit plot iffy. Was with a friend and he was like "was it ok that I took those.. I don't want to be cursed." I was like "huh?" and there they were.

It isn't cursed lol. I think there were 8+ small stacks in there ~16-20 is gp. the big piles are just furniture.Edited by traigusb14_ESO2 on July 13, 2015 6:42AM0 -

WarrioroftheWind_ESO✭✭✭✭If you are a criminal connoisseur, whenever in any delve or quest area, keep an eye out for small coin stacks. Not the big mounds, it'll either be the neat single stack, 2 short stacks, or a small handful of gold. I've seen coins in Nordic barrows, Daedric shrines, and ship cabins. There were interactable gold piles in the two ships you enter for the Lost Fleet quest in Coldharbour, the one where the cat turns into a skelly and the other one where you meet up with One-Eye.
There's also loose soul-gems that are stealable, but you got to look for them. Curious thing though...they're marked stealable in Coldharbour...which is the realm of a Daedric Prince. Items in Hollow City aren't flagged as stealable so you can loot to your hearts content but....why is it stealing to steal from a Daedric Prince? Or Bandits. There's a crate of corn in Red Ruby cave that's flagged as stealable in Cyro, yet another zone where items aren't considered stealable, just lootable.0
