New player question

Hey guys. Sorry for what is probably stupid noob questions but I got a few.

I am currently a level 11 Dragon Knight. I have on my bar all the Ardent Flame abilities I have unlocked. I also wear heavy armor and have a 2H.

My question here is what I could do to be better.
What stat do I put my level up points into. Right now i have like 4 in magic and Stam with the rest in health. Also I am looking to get into pvp as I love that kind of thing. What should I aim for?

Get a tidy bar so for example:
A.gap closer for melee/gap opener for caster
B.aoe ability
C.cc ability
D.dot ability
E.buff/debuff

As your a DK you may wish to concentrate on being a tank, if you do then building stamina points alongside health is what you will aim for.

Your PVP set up will be different from that of a solo, you can search online for set ups.

Well I just hit level 15. I think I have 5 points in everything. I can change these correct? I also just started to use a 1H with shield. But have no clue how to tank. Are there abilities I should focus on? Currently I have my bars set up with all Ardent flame abilities except for the Heal and armor from the other skill tree

You can re-roll your attributes and skill points eventually when you get to your faction's capital city. It costs gold but its worth it for the experimentation/refinement.

Read all of your abilities' tooltips closely. If you don't understand exactly what they do, google them. Don't let yourself get locked into just a few abilities so early on. You have a long way to go so don't be afraid to switch your skill bars around often.

Since you're just leveling up your first character, try out all your new abilities as they unlock in your skill trees. Generally your class skills will use Magicka, and your weapon skills use Stamina. Your Stamina-based skills will scale their damage based on your max Stamina, among other things; same thing with Magicka skills > max Magicka.

Also, learn as you go bub! Half the fun is figuring stuff out so just try everything and hone your knowledge!

Thanks for the responses guys. I have finally settled on tanking and have managed to do a few dungeons. I have yet to set up a second bar with a weapon and abilities but I am probably going to set it up with bows.

Slowly but surely I am filling out this character!
