Here's a very early build (lvl6) for a Templar. It hopefully shows some basic concepts of how fun casting ranged spells and charging into melee can be. The build gets much better around level 20 when you have more skills and a second bar. An update video will come out when I hit around level 20-25. Enjoy

Have they fixed the templar class charge yet so it doesnt GCD you? Be kinda nice to switch over dual wielding, pick up some stamina

Have you tried bow with this build?

Seems like the bow would offer quite a bit of utility being able to hit from range

The Templar charge is sort of fixed but not completely. Its better than it used to be. I have another Templar (They are kind of my thing) that uses a similar setup to this that's dual wield instead of 2H. I honestly don't really like it all that much. Maybe its the critical rush animation or the fact that 2H with light armor looks cool but I definitely get more enjoyment out of the 2H version.

I have tried and tried bows in this game and they just don't do it for me. Can't put my finger on it but I don't like them.

Since this is a full magicka based build, that's another reason I don't want to use a bow. Plus I am going for the whole battlemage thing. Casting spells and using melee is the hybrid. Not necessarily half mag/stam.
