Dual Wield bug

Several times now I've experienced a bug where both of my weapons will disappear while attacking and I can't switch to my backup weapon or anything, making me a dead fish in the water. Has anyone experienced this and know of a workaround? At least 4 times now I've died because of this and it's pretty damn aggravating, last time was while fighting a dungeon boss.

I'm not 100% certain but I believe it has something to do with Teleport Strike.

I have had this happen to me a couple of times just walking around with my weapons out. I wasn't using any abilities, so I just attributed it to a bit of lag on my internet's part.

Ive had it happen to me as well. Haven't had it happen for the past week though. The only fix was to die or log off. I assume using a Wayshine would work as well

I was worried that was the case. Oh well, guess there's no hope for a fix, only hope that it won't happen in combat again.

ha same here, it seems to happen when I use ambush/teleport and always at the worst possible time.

I have experienced this bug too and it seems to occur when Teleport Strike/it's morphs are interrupted somehow. For this reason it is more of a Nightblade bug than Dual Wield but I do not know if this bug occurs when using 1h or 2h alone.

Ah it seems we're on to something, the teleport ability might be the culprit...now only if ZoS would take notes from posted problems.

it happens, if your'e on pc just fast tap ESC if you're on console idk, what bring your main menu up and closes it fast, happened to me several times in spellscar today mostly when jumping outside of quest area with ambush... 2h stamina vr7 nb

and i use only latest FTC as mod and that's my only mod

and it' has been happening since dawn of ions. and its not a DW bug. i use 2h

That could explain why I haven't experienced it any lately. I've been focusing more on my 2H for initial attack and then swapping to DW for mobs

Try using a potion.

No idea why but it seems to fix most of the gap closer bugs that leave you unable to act.

I had this happen a few times were all both primary duel wield and secondary single hand disappear. Usually if I just put away the weapon and bring them back out it works fine.

When this happened to me on a different wb I just ran around (I wasn't dying because of it) and used a health potion (as I couldn't use back up [at the time] resto staff to heal) and still no weapons. I don't think it's an "ambush" bug but I can't be 100% because I do use it a lot in rotation but i think it's happened to me when I didn't try to ambush. Just sayin
