When do cabinets respawn?

I mean this for motif farming purposes. Whenever you loot a cabinet or something and take everything out, how long does it take to refill with another random set of items?
I was once told that if you log out and come back in it should respawn, is this true?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

✭✭✭✭✭Rezoning* or relogging or going into and out of the Thieves Refuge will respawn containers. Well, technically, you just need to go in or out of the Thieves Refuge.
The only exception to this is the Dwemer Ruins. Those have a cool down timer on them to prevent this kind of activity on those containers. So, for farming Dwemer Motifs, wait about 20 or 30 minutes between Ruins.
*I have gone to another zone then come back and not had containers respawn, so this might not be consistent. However relogging and the Thieves methods are consistent in resetting containers.Edited by Nestor on July 9, 2015 4:10PMEnjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
