What class for second character?

My first character was a dragon knigh. I love it but Sorcerers and nighblades seem really cool,
I wouldn't mind a Templar though so what do you think? I will use this class for pvp a lot as well.

Nb can be great support crafter - stealing with ease all resources and items for leveling his crafts.

I think the trick here is to experiment with what you know. Like the heavy armor passives when you played dk? Cool. Now throw that on another class- night blade for example. The shadow skill line gives you a boost in armor and spell resistance depending on how many pieces of heavy armor you're wearing. Throw that with some restoration staff abilities and you've got some great self heal and aoe heal from shadow AND siphoning. Add that with a compatible race, and you can make one mean toon.

Yea that's true I feel like the nigh blades have great damage and the survivability to be ok,
The heavy armor and restro staff seems like a killer build

I went Templar for my second char after my DK. Tried Sorc and NB but like the Templar's skills more.

I've done it myself personally with an argonian. MEAN. Plus werewolf. Doesn't seem like much, but the argonian boost in healing, disease and poison immunity AND the benefits of regaining ultimate every time you drink a potion from the Siphoning's Catalyst- you've got a hard hitting and potent healer.

Odd, I know. But it totally works.

I've got all of them up to at least lv 15+
And liked all of them. The poll by the way is for feed back

well my main was a DK, because I like to get up into that boss s face and yell "Cmon bring it bub" and can also dish out some nice dps
after that I lvl'd a templar since its also a greath tank, and has also some dps and heal options
not really rogue or mage for me just straight up warrior feel

More of interest would be the role (tank, DD, healer) you wanne play or wish to play or if you are more a PvEer or a PvPer maybe. If more a PvEer...high veteran content or just a bit gold and silver stuff ? Do you lean towards min/maxing ?

All classes are capable of performing all roles, but some a tad better, especially in combination with choosing the right race.

In example: I play a V14 NB and a V14 Templar, both magicka based as healers (Its' just pretty simple to find a gold or silver group slot as a healer, should be even more easy as a tank).

While my Templar Healer is able to do DSA veteran with ease, it's much more work for my NB. On the other side it's much more fun to play my NB as a healer, because being able to bring around 5k support dps to a silver or gold group while keeping alive a whole group just by clicking the SAME skills for both dps and healing, is just awesome.

So my answer would be, you don't need another DK, you just need some bag slots to carry the gear for different builds and some gold to alter skills/morphs and attribute points.

So let the snow flakes and unicorns dance alone until they melt or vanish from existence, we will finish up with those smart enough to stay in the glowing circle of love.

This question is impossible to answer, it's a matter of personal preference. I play dragoknights and nightblades almost exclusively, I have a templar and a sorcerer but they never clicked for me (especially the sorcerer). However, they are other people's favorite classes. All I can say is: try all four, see what works for you.

How are you playing your dk? My dk is a fire mage so I wanted my first alt to provide a completely different pay style. So i went with stamina nightblade.

I agree, I would try a new role and the opposite build. If you aren't satisfied, you can always change to another role and/or another build. It's just a matter of gear (crafted gear is totally sufficient) and some gold for reskilling and reallocating your attribute points. To be on the safe side, I would train every possible skill already while leveling.

I love both the nightblade and Templar class. I've never been much of a Sorcerer, but I might fry it out again sometime soon. For PvP id go with Nightblade myself

    All of the above!

Though my night blade is my favourite, I really enjoy my Templar and my sorc too.
