No Audio Bug

Yesterday i had had three instances of getting stuck on the loading screen and had to force quit. After the third time, i was able to properly load but I have had no audio since. I have run the repair multiple times, disabled/re-enabled my playback devices and have updated my audio drivers. Audio works with everything else but ESO. Any devs out there that can help with this situation? I would really prefer not to have to reinstall. Thanks for the help!

    Hello @Smuggles,

As you already tried to repair your game, could you please try these to other steps?

    Refresh the PC's Audio:
    • Exit the game.
    • Right click on the Speaker icon in the bottom right corner of the system tray. (Please note that the Speaker Icon may get hidden in the Notification Area. To find it, simply click on the Up-arrow Icon in the bottom right corner of the system tray.)
    • Choose Play Back Devices from the drop down menu, and then right click in the window and select Show Disabled Devices.
    • Right click on the actual device, and select Disable.
    • Click Apply, and then right click the device again and select Enable.
    • Press Apply

    Refresh Audio Drivers:
    • Click the Start Globe and then right click on Computer and select Manage.
    • Select Device Manager from the System Tools section.
    • Open the Sound, Video and Game Controllers section and choose your sound device from the list.
    • Double click to open the Properties Menu" and then select the Drivers tab
    • From here you can roll back your drivers to a previous version to see if this will help.
To update your audio drivers, please visit your hardware manufacturer's website and check for available updates.

If the steps above do not resolve the issue, please let us know.

    Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately, I have done all of these steps. Someone else I play with also has had this issue since the last patch. And before you ask, my game is on the same hard drive as my drivers ;) .

Just a follow up for anyone having this issue. After rolling back my audio driver, I reinstalled the latest driver again an my sound decided it wanted to work again. Not quite sure why, but it's a step to take before deciding to reinstall the game.
