OMG!! Fix the quest: The Prisoner of Jathsogur [Aldmeri] (Xbox One)

Look, I've seen the posts people made about this quest where idiots/trolls messes up the quest while everyone else cooperates with each other, yeah it works fine until there's one a-hole who screws everything up! I'm soooo tired of this quest. I've been in this building for a couple days now and still haven't completed it. And yes, I've seen what the admin [Z] said about it but frankly, I don't want to go onto Reaper's March until I complete Malabol Tor... I'm tired of waiting and I'm honestly getting bored of this game because of this (idiots are probably gonna say: "well, go do something else or go to RM.."), which is true, but no. I've completed every single quest in Auridon, Grahtwood, Greenshade, and Khenarthi's Roost... so obviously MT is next for me and I'm NOT moving on until I complete everything here!

This should have been a solo quest honestly. I'm thinking about playing a different game for the time being. I truly understand they're working hard to fix this error and put it in the next patch, but I really feel bad for the people who's been here for weeks or a month and still haven't completed it, which I can't see myself doing. With that said, I'm done venting lol, I'm off to play a different game now. Hit me up when they fix this crappy quest, gleesh!

I'm stuck there too. Been spending an hour or so a day trying to coordinate with people to get the quest done... It's been a week lol. I'll keep trying until I complete the quest whenever that'll be.

I'm playing right now and I've been in this tower for about 3-4 hours, no progress has been made. Reported like 5 trolls already.

You'll beat it at some point, just like I will eventually. If I find myself starting to get frustrated there I go do a diffrent quest or switch characters. You may want to try the same.

Nahh, I personally don't like the idea of having another character. Like I said on my first, I don't want to move on to the next area...

You have to get lucky to beat this quest. There is another quest("The Moonlit Path") later on in AD that is bugged as well. They coincidentally both include "defend the silvenar" in the quest portion that is bugged. I completed the prisoner of jathsogur immediately following a scheduled server maintenance , and i got very lucky during the moonlit path quest, about 10 minutes after i got to the bugged portion of the quest the servers crashed and when they came back up i was the only person there. I have noticed with both of these quests, they are not really bugged, as they work fine when you solo them, it is random players not knowing what they are doing that make these quests impossible. I think the easiest fix might be to make these instances "solo" areas so people cant troll or unintentionally wreck a quest.

On a side note, it is quite clear not many people can complete these two quests as the VR zones for AD players are almost completely empty.

Ugh, even during Cadwell's Gold on the PC, this quest was buggy. Relogging fixed it for me, but that blows that you're all stuck.

Stop trying, its bugged as hell. Move on to the next zone or clean up other quests. ZOS has acknowlaged this quest a couple times but have done nothing.
