Please make guild bank items stack!

Why is my 500 space guild bank full if single tomatoes again?!!!


The only solution so far I have found for forcing the stacking of singular items is to take them all out. Sell them to a merchant and buy them all back. Then replace the stacked items.



I know its prob not a huge concern but if you get a few minutes, could you look into this.



Any other players who would like to way in on the topic just to demonstrate interest in a patch fix for this issue please do so below.

Hi @mrskinskull The stacking items dilemma in the guild bank has been a problem since closed beta on the PC. Back then the items would stack and was the source of a huge duplicating exploit that gave many cheaters the millions of gold they enjoy today!

Instead of hitting the problem head on ZOS decided to just stop items from stacking in the Gbank. Problem solved right?

Thus I would expect this issue resolved half past never on the darkside of the moon.

When you withdraw from the bank it doesn't stack the items in your inventory?

You withdraw two stacks of two tomatoes and then look in your inventory and you don't have one stack of four tomatoes?

Wait, can you stack tomatoes?

Why can't you stack tomatoes?

What's a bank? I keep my tomatoes under my mattress.

I would not want to be the Bank Manager if I was playing on the consoles. And your not alone in you concerns about this.

Until this is resolved, you can use your personal bank to get the items to stack. Deposit the items, stack them if needed, then pull them out. The trick is to keep the guild stuff separate from the player inventory.

Wow. Controller UI sounds painful. It is also nice to be able to drag mats to stack after laundering them. How does that work with controller?

They should at least make withdrawn items all stack properly in player inventory, even if bank can't stack correctly due to syncing issues.

@mrskinskull Pumpkins? This is madness Pumpkins are for Puree they are no good for anything else.

So because a few people decided to cheat, rather than fix the actual problem and/or punish the cheaters ZOS just decided to make the problem bigger?

I've resorted to having an alt with no inventory or bank space utilized specifically for this purpose. It's an absurd waste of time.

Yep, they shut off guild bank stacking as a bandaid on PC and never fixed it properly.
So it's not only a problem, it's a problem they actually ported to console.
Not the only one from what I've been seeing.

I am learning so much about this game.

I only ask because I have a spice rack at home that does the same thing.

I have to fill my pockets with garlic cloves and 'stack' them. Then they fit, but no one ever wants to eat them.
