Should we break the alliance "limit" in Tamriel "unlimited"?

As a roleplayer, my character cannot care less about all these alliances war. I am neutral. Some people could be a trader, a spy, a smuggler, a member of a neutral guild... The alliances mean nothing to them. I do most of the quest out of character. Sometime there is a RP event or a RP guild I'd like to join, but they're on another alliance. Create another character in that alliance you said? But each of my characters has their own personality, their own story. A new character is not THE character that I want to roleplay with. Beside, I don't have time for too many characters at the same time. All these barriers between alliances only split up the community and make us harder to find group and guild fit with our play style.

At least, if you don't want to bring down the current barriers, consider release new non-pvp zones where any alliance can enter and interact with each other. There are quite a lots of uncover zone on map. After all, we did do all the quests of all 3 alliances and gained their trust in Cadwell's quests.

I agree, particularly for any area considered "Neutral" (that would include Coldharbour, Craglorn, Eyevea, the Earth Forge, Group Dungeons, and Trials). This is an often-requested thing on the forums. You may like to do a search for "Cross-Faction PvE" and see what else is out there.

I'm not opposed to this sort of change, but this is not what OP is asking for: full, open-world interaction between the alliances for the sake of RP (and I do not agree with this). OP even admits one reason he wants this is because he doesn't have the time to make a character on another faction. He wants it for the convenience of it, not because it makes sense.

To the OP, there are tens of thousands of players per alliance per platform. If you're unable to find what you are looking for in one, I would say you're being too picky or not looking hard enough.

Yeah sure. I was just going through the motions of posting the same list I use every time someone asks for breaking down the alliance barriers. I agree with you that the level 1-43 alliance zones should not be opened up, but OP makes a good point about Cadwell's. Something I have suggested elsewhere is having Cadwell's verisons of those zones as alliance-free, since you are already subject to alternate timelines during these events.

I personally would like at the very least SOME friendly cross faction areas.

The reason you dont want cross faction is for the Lore and Rp players.

Agreed. The idea of having such zones has been requested time and time again. It's a controversial idea, I personally have nothing against it. Yet the reason behind OP's request simply does not make sense. I occasionally RP for the fun of it, and the RP community may hold events in different factions and different megaservers. They enjoy the different towns, settings, and there's less intruders on EU servers. Moreover, it's enjoyable to build new characters and develop their stories. That's what RP is about - stories, characters, settings.

Even if there are neutral zones, events will still be held in different factions to ease the access to the meet-up point for new alts, cause not every RP player is going to have a VR character who completed Cadwell's Gold. I believe ESO is offering a lot of attention and love to RP players, and they should, but OP request just doesn't make sense.
People keep telling me they're gonna buy me an ale. They never do.

There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's culture. And the Elves.

The problem I don't want to make new character on another faction is because once you've given too much "soul" into a rp character, you began to get attach to it. When you re-roll a new one, it feel like that character is not completed, it's not a whole person. It's not just about the time to "grind" the levels, it's about the time and brain work to keep up with the personalities. When I (capital I) create a roleplay character, I put some of my personality into that character, he's a part of me. And you cannot spit up your personality into too many "versions" at the same time, or you might have serious mental problem called personality disorders. Even the actors usually only take 1 role at a time. I've tried. I've created 7 characters, and by created, I mean I spent 2 hours to find a meaning name each time, 1 or 2 days to create a back story and personality for each individual. But hell, I can keep up like that. I end up focus on 1 atm.
