1. I read the bit about checking to see if it's a known issue first. I'm shocked to find its not.
I've played over half of eSo so far. And frankly this is a poor mans excuse for a MMO. Questing in a group seems so bizarre it's as if they had amateurs coding it. Nothing seems clear.
For example. Last night two of my friends did a basic quest. Quest objectives are talk to 2 guys and collect four items.
Now I don't mind all of us being forced to talk to the two guys. (We all get to hear the story then) but forcing us all to collect four hearts each from the ground?!?! There was no need for that. It felt like we were all playing our own version of a single player game.
I've noticed randomly some quests do let you collect things collectively.
If there is a reason for this, it's definitely NOT made clear.
2. Sharing quests.game lets you share quests but other players don't get the quests I'm guessing this is down to other player has completed quest. (Even though quest is classed as repeatable.
But the issue is. If the game says quest shared. Then god damn it the quest should be shared. Or we need to be given a reason as to why the quest can't be shared.
Soo disappointed in this games group questing. This is essentially a single player game. It's almost as if they made it as a single player game. Then on the final week before publication. Someone went "oh wait let's make this an MMO".
