Any chance of a 64 bit version of eso?

If only. My computer might not crash the game as often.

With how the game leaks memory (interestingly after the last patch it reminds me of how it leaked a year ago), I really like it's only 32-bit. For me it freezes/crashes somewhere around 3.4GB, and by that time it's already a slide-show, so I think if it could consume another 4GB, it would only get worse, eventually slowing down the whole system, not just itself.

I'm running on 16GB. Let me have it.

Anyways, to answer OPs question. There is no ETA or plan to release a 64bit client.

I know, I would love if it could use all my memory, help it preload more of the game.

Dam it you beat me to the punch.
Now how would you hook your N64 up to the network.
    Hmmmm!

Didn't the 64 have an expansion port on the bottom that was never used? We could turn it into a network port. For this game though you would probably have to buy the optional ram for it as well.

Was that on the bottom or the top??

I remember one in the top that took an "expansion pack". Only because the last game I bought for N64 was perfect dark and it needed the expansion to work. Don't know if that's what you mean by getting extra ram.
I've gotta check this out now. It's been a long while since I played it and don't remember anything on the bottom.

Well how's about that.. There's an EXT port on the bottom of my N64.
Although now I'm not sure how you'd plug something into it while playing since it's literally right on the bottom side of the console. Now I'm wondering what it was used for back in the day.
You'd need to make some kind of frame.
Jesus.. Look at me taking the "play N64 online" jest seriously enough to try and think how it'd be done lol :p

That's assuming you could find any of the stuff these days and that it doesn't cost you an arm or a leg. I seriously saw a 64 game for sale recently for $150 and took a few games in to trade in for a newbie, a couple of PS3 games and a few 64 games, and I got more trade in for for the 64 games. Actually I think I got more for 1 64 game than I got for 3 PS3 games.
They've turned classic or retro or something and are worth a fair bit these days.

So correct me if I'm wrong. I could be thinking of the wrong "bits" here. I'm not really tech savvy. I know the bare basics but terminology eludes me.
But if ESO went 64 bit wouldn't the graphics be horrible?. By today's standards at least.
And would it be as big?
The largest games from N64 I can remember were zelda, banjo-kazooie, super mario and perhaps donkey kong and they were the tip of the iceberg compared to modern sandbox games.

And mine runs on 48GB, so concur

The N64 had a network box that attached to the bottom (same size as the N64). Though there were only a handful of games that ever released for it. There was also a N64 cd player that would attach in the same way.

It would allow the game to use more memory. 32bit programs are limited to 4 gb of ram. If it could use more it might allow it to preload more of the game.
