If I want to sneak do i need nigh blade

So if I want to sneak with a bow or anything can I use my dragon knigh or is a nighblade a must have for sneak attacking

Any class can sneak whenever they want and how long they want.

Nightblade just offers a few passives that contribute to a sneaky-peaky playstyle.
