OKay...rant coming...
Was in daggerfall, and "MR-X" (NOT HIS NAME!) was talking on his phone to somebody about what type of cheese his woman bought, and how it ended up in the garbage, and how he took it back out of the garbage...get it?
There were about 6 people YELLING at this person that "we don't care about your cheese!".
I sent one message to this person asking them to mute their mic, and was replied to with "you have the wrong person"...I used the IN game contact sytem while the name was ON THE SCREEN.
Anyway...after I asked this person to just "mute and be nice" they actually said "Stop, or I will report you!"...and claimed they were 14...even though this drunk-arsed dude was whining for 45 minutes about cheese his wfie/old-lady bought.
So..I ask ALL [CONSOLE} player to start REPORTING area-chat spammers.
PLEASE.

mrskinskull✭✭✭✭You could just form a PlayStation party and then selectively add players you like. That's kinda how I do it when I'm not in the mood to random chat. Try to be considerate, some people have kids and have to attend to them before meeting the needs of the random players surrounding davon watch blacksmith. It sucks I know but what if someone has a serous medical condition or something actually improtant and you are rallying people to report the poor guy.
Some days are good some days aren't. Some people just put their mics down and help their mothers carry in groceries without thinking first.
We all understand your frustrations, I have been there but nobody should ever have to lose cheese.
