Hey guys, bumping this back up and derailing it a bit. Customer support still hasn't responded to my ticket for the logging out. Do you have any ideas?
Also, the vet Darkshade quest still seems to be bugged. Have any of you successfully completed it with a group that was just there for the daily? If so what did you have to do. I managed to get it to the 'escape engine room' step but couldn't get it past there.4
Firstly are you playing PC or console?
If PC then it sounds like you may have a faulty memory chip, what RAM are you running at?
If console then maybe it is router problems caused by many people using the router, but that I can only speculate.
PC. With an ungodly amount of RAM, I bought it this way, not my fault. How do I check if that is the source of the problem?
Maybe your ISP is disconnecting your internet every hour and a half.

Yes I just completed it last night on one toon, and on another toon someone else had it. After you kill the last boss do you backtrack through the dungeon? You need to.
Someone I ran it with last night said they hadnt done the quest because their previous attempt was with a daily group that had snuck past the dwemer waves, rather than defeat them.. So it bugged out. Did your group possibly do the same when you did the quest?

Wouldn't this crash the game, not log him out and send him to the character selection screen?

First, Make sure your NAT is open. If not, enable UPNP on your router and restart and recheck NAT.
Second, go into your routers firewall and open the Ipv4 security settings. Set to Low
Third, go into your routers firewall and open the Ipv6 security settings. Set to custom and select only to block ident port 113.
Save and/or restart.
Obviously, lowering security settings puts you at risk so proceed at your own risk.
Hope this works for you. Good luck.

Unfortunately I don't have any solutions to offer you but I saw in your OP that you are Port Forwarding, here is a thread talking about why port forwarding isn't entirely safe for your computer.
http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/141575/psa-please-dont-use-port-forwarding-for-eso-zos-shouldnt-be-telling-people-to-do-this/p1
There might be some other helpful solutions in this thread, I hope this information helps!!
Good luck finding a fix!

I've noticed that since the last patch or two I've run into a similar logging out issue and I wonder if it is just a system wide bug that effects a few people. Though in my case it isn't nearly as consistent as you.
The only other things I can think of is that you have some fault piece of hardware, I would suggest checking your ram but someone has already pitched that idea.
Have you noticed any other issues perhaps in another game or program?
Good theory, but I am not losing connection anywhere else (TS, Skype, etc)

I would not rule out an ISP related issue. For about a month the game was unstable for me but everything else worked other than max speed downloads. I could stream and do all that, but the game was not stable. Turns out I was having Reverse Error Issues and the cable company fixed me right up.
Now I will say lately I have had more lock ups in the game but that is not a kick to the log in screen, just an outright freeze.
And how would one find out if something like this was the issue?
