I'd agree with you, but then again, it's not really needed because everyone has that skill in soul line that lets you ress for free when you get kill'd by mobs, and also soul gems,,, so yea.
Not against it, really, but it kinda IS unnecessary
Normally fights break out at keeps or resource hubs, at least the fights that carry weight in a campaign. If you are fighting NPC's you are most likely not taking part in the actual "War efforts".blood porting? like go to a npc and die to port to a defense? .... how is this different from dying from a player and porting to a defense?
I guess i don't understand why there are separate rules when being killed by an npc as opposed to being killed by a player.

Blood porting is one of the worst PvP mechanics in this game. That's why they removed forward camps, because people abused the system.
But if you die from a PvE NPC you can rez with a soul gem on the very spot you died.
I'm confused as to what your issue is? Do you not have soul gems?
In PvE you don't get to pick the wayshrine your rez at. You rez at the nearest wayshrine to where you died.
(At least I've never been given options when I picked Wayshrine).

Umm ok yeah I guess that's correct....so why doesn't it work this way in cyrodil? Instead you are rezzed as far as possible from where you died!

Because keeps arent wayshrines... the only two wayshrines are at your two home gates. The keep rez points are transitus shrines only for pvp deaths (or deaths by keep guards), not pve npcs
If you're dying pve deaths in Cyrodiil...
A. You're doing Cyrodiil wrong.
and
B. You're terrible.

@LrdRahvin , you've obviously never:
- Stepped wrong and taken stupid high fall damage.
- Gotten stuck in the environment.
- Had a no-skills/weapon swap bug that did not allow you to defend/retreat.
- Experienced any lag in Cyrodiil, ever...
Whether or not it's valid, it's still true. Cyrodiil only has 2 Wayshrines.Thats not valid, cause cyrodil have pve objectives also...it's not a pvp only zone.sswilhelm_27b14_ESO wrote: »In PvE you don't get to pick the wayshrine your rez at. You rez at the nearest wayshrine to where you died.
