Guild Improvements - Guild Halls

One thing I'd love to see ESO bring on are guild halls. Guilds can pay X amount of gold to have a permanent establishment in a town. Due to limitations on physical area, all guild halls could be a single structure with the option to select which guild you wanted to go in upon attempting to enter. Guilds would have the option to allow guests inside, but by default it would be members only.

Inside the guild hall could also be a permanent merchant that sells items for the guild, eliminating the need to buy into the weekly kiosks. Since the kiosk were intended to be a social way for players to experience item sales, this would also promote that, except it's less temporary. By having players interact with other guilds, more than just wayshrining to each and every location looking for what they want, players could actually get to know guilds and maybe get recruited.

This could also help promote guild interactions with the public (RP nights, auctions, raffles, etc). Again, it's really hard to learn more about a guild without becoming involved with the guild as a member. Sure, there are tabards, but to have an actual guild presence in this game is only with recruiting, zone chats, and third-party word of mouth.

ESO has been out for well over a year without player housing, much less guild halls. I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.
Can't find the items you are looking for? Need a place to trade? We welcome ESO players of all platforms at ESO Trade, the home for trading of goods and services in the lands of Tamriel.

Player housing never feels logical though in this game. Without it being similar to FFXI. And I'm not holding my breath, just offering an idea.

I understand, but player housing and guild halls have been brought up on this forum a million times. Make that a million and one times now.

I also realize that. I've been here since launch. But the idea I expressed weren't really discussed recently or in depth.

    I will bite :-)
The guild hall itself would be cool, but the question that follows is how do you accommodate every guild that can afford one? What would happen to the kiosks? What incentive would there be to keep up with it?

Instancing, every guild could purchase a instanced area (just for this, not a clone of current zones)with housing lots, a guild hall, guild shops, mines. ect. there could even be wars between guilds where invasions could occur with them occuping controll points that must be retaken for shops ect to continuie operations.

Thers alot that can be done if the dev team would just decide to do it.
