Returning player needs some advice

Hello, been playing ESO since beta. I've been away a good amount of time and I've mostly read up on the major changes that have happened etc etc. So I'm mostly good there. However I'm having difficulty finding current answers with a few things and thought to ask you all. So here we go!

What class is needed most? Or role, DPS/Tank/Heal? I like to be needed and useful to groups.

Is there a faction that needs players more than the others? I like the underdogs.

Has group finding been fixed? When I left finding groups was near impossible.

That's the thick of it. Just looking to figure out where to put myself really. I guess I'll be searching around for a player helpful guild next lol. Thanks for anything you guys can share, I really appreciate it!

I'm assuming you're on PC since you stated Beta (we have to differentiate now with console players on here)

1. I see the most calls for tanks in my guilds, healers next

2. Daggerfall Covenant struggles the most with numbers in PVP, so I would guess they are the lowest pop overall

3.No, zone or guilds are the best way to group

1)if you going for daily golds pve only go for magicka templar tank/healer and will be ultra easy to find spots xD tank btw is the most needed role atm for 4men, not anymore healer. if interested in 12men you should find a guild first. In pvp any role, skilled tankyhealer ofc makes the difference.
2)EP is fine. AD is decent/low. DC pretty low for goldies. for pvp: well morning/afternoon any faction is ok but are all splitted like *** all over the campaigns so good luck with it. late afternoon/evening = lag free everywhere=offline. So depend about what do u prefer: )
3)not fixed, not much bugged too, but not many players using it: ) i use it all days and as tank/healer it works perfectly, as dps you may wait also hours. Ofc group finder still sux much: )
