Is there a name for the action / emotion felt when you use a hard earned skill point on something you instantly realise you will never use.

    We've all been there. Just head to your faction's capital and visit the temple. You can unlearn all of your current ability points, morphs, or attributes for a gold cost.

    Exasperation. But you could always just go to the shrine and spend some money on a respec but you'll have to do all of it over.

    I reset a VR7 and he still has 50 unassigned points without having finished Silver.

    So don't pay to reset unless you've hit an impervious wall in your gameplay. You'll be swimming in extra skill points soon enough.

    Yep, second zone in your home Alliance, in the capital city will be a shrine, well, 3 shrines. You can respec your Attributes, or just your Morphs or all your skill points. It will tell you how much it costs before you do so, so you can back out if you want. I think it is 50 gold per point, a lot cheaper than it used to be.

    And, you can redistribute the CPs for a flat fee of 3000 no matter how many you have.
