Using Crowns and customizing character

jeremynever_die
1.So, if i use those crown points say to learn how to use Daedric armor, will it be there for all characters or the one im logged in to at the time of buying it?
2. Is there a way you can customize your existing characters features after you created it? Say switching the male to a female or changing the users hair? Is it possible?

Costumes purchased in the crown store are account-wide and can be worn by any character on that account.

No, there is no way to change anything about your character once it is created.

Me too with the changing appearance thing (not so much for changing sex).

Who knows.. They might introduce it in a patch sometime since I'm reading A LOT of threads saying similar things about wanting to change appearance.

I just want to change my chars hair style (not that it REALLY matters since his head is being hidden by a full face helmet) so if they could introduce a barber that'd be an awesome step in the right direction.

That being said my character is khajiit and I keep thinking I should have gone with the tiger style for his skin (or fur) so being able to change that would be good too.

Before someone says "just make a new char" that's not an idea that I find appealing..
Every MMO or MMORPG I've played I've always created and used the one char.
I just don't really have the time (or patience) to be questing with and levelling multiple characters.
I only have so many hours or TV use a day before other people take it over and remote playing on my psv is pretty s**t. It limits what I can do and I can't even summon my mount so I'm fast travelling and hoofing it everywhere :(.
    This is my signature.
    Original. Right ;p!

The barbershop is supposedly being worked on. And as one of those who really want to correct some details on my characters that looked all right in chargen and not so much in live game... I am waiting most eagerly. And hoping they will do it well!

It wouldn't even be so difficult to implement. Just revisit the chargen screen, have a crown cost for every slider moved, maybe an large crown cost for major changes like switching gender, renaming or selecting a different race, an "reset to current" button, and a "pay final cost to make it so" button, let people play with all until they are happy, then pay and enjoy their newly recustomized character.

In your first question I am guessing you are referring to the Deadric Motif, which will allow your character to craft armour in the Deadric style when you consume the item. The character that consumes to item (the book you purchase), is the one that will be able to craft, it is not account-wide. Though you can craft on one character and put it in the bank for another character to use of course.

There has been talk of a barber shop or something similiar, but currently it is not possible to change your appearance in any way.

Speaking of crown points is there a way to earn more or do you have to use cash to buy more from the store?

cash all the way. I recommend getting the $15 crown points because that would allow you to get other stuff too.

I agree about playing on the Vita isn't as good as playing on the TV, my TV time is somewhat limited as well. If this helps at all, you can summon your mount, tap the vita screen super fast 4 or 5 times and you will mount up. It's pretty stupid and I think a bug they are looking into, but it is doable. Hope that helps :)
