What do you want in a DPS?

For those of you who have done a lot of grouping, especially on dungeons, trials and pledges, and you've played with really good DPS players (or yourself are one), I'm curious about stats.

I'm back playing after a long break, and I'm really trying to dial in my character. I've read a lot and seen videos on various DPS builds, and all races, armor, weapons and buffs aside, what kind of stats do good DPS players have?

What's their weapon damage? What's their critical hit percentage?

What are the ideal (but I guess realistic) stats you'd want from a DPS player if you were putting together a group?

    If you're doing 8k+ you're doing ok.
    if you're doing 10k+ you're doing good.
If you're doing 15k+ ppl going to really like you.
    If you're doing 19k+ you are the 1% ;)

I can talk mag build stats all day, stam builds not so much...my stam NB has been on the shelf since 1.6 dropped.

    5 medium hundings rage armour
    2 heavy ravager armour
    2 rings and neck ravager
master 2h or any crafted 2h sword
    20k hp
    buffs>Wrecking blow>Light attack>Wrecking Blow>...>executioner>LA>execute

You want to wear 5+ medium pieces and then max out weapon damage with around 20k hp.

    5 Medium Hundings
    2 heavy Derughs King Slayer
1 Pendant of Derugh's King SLayer
    2 Shadow Walker bands

2H for Rally and then switch to dual wield Morag Tong daggers or Maces.

i played with really good dps, ones that do not die. because dead dps = no dps. doesnt matter if your dps beforehand was 19k, or 9k. dont die. dont blame the tank for no aggro, dont blame the healer for no heals when you should have a CC bar or a survival bar just for grouping up. not only will you help the group, but also even that 9k dps will fall a mountain given enough time.

That's good to know, just what I was looking for - a "feel" for what's going on.
