Does the 2 handed skill tree apply to staffs?
Because I noticed that my 2 handed skill level is only at 5 and I'm a level 18, Destruction Staff using sorcerer.
Shouldn't my 2 handed level be MUCH higher since this is the only weapon type I use for the entire game?

✭you use "destruction staff", which leads to " destruction staff" skill tree leveling up.
when you are standing still with a staff in hand you were it only in 1 hand with a 2 hand weapon you were it in both hands, bow is an exception though which levels up the "bow" skill tree,Moons and sands shall be your guide and path.

✭For a while I was confused about this, too, but no, staves do not count as two-handed weapons, unfortunately.

Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis0 -

As for more weapon lines, oh, boy, that is something many have been whining about. Me included!
Polearms... Brawling/Pugilism... One-handed and Spellrune... maybe some "Alteration" staves with a mix of damage and support abilities as well...
And of course, more weapons for those skill lines that are lacking in choice.
Like, crossbows for "Bow", or spell foci and wands for "Destruction magic" and "Restoration magic"
Oh, well. Maybe someday. One can hope...0 -
