help please with the werewolf shrine in reapers march

I was scratched yesterday by a werewolf and when I went to go into the shrine to do the quest it wouldn't let me in does anyone know what's going wrong here? I'm on the ps4

If you where bitten by another player (in front of the shrine), the quest starts there. However, if you where scratched by an NPC, you first need to go to a wayshrine where an npc will approach you and give you the quest.

There is a missing npc bug on the the console. Ones you have visited a wayshrine and the npc spawned there (invisable or not), it stays there. So make sure you remember the first wayshrines You've visited and relog there till you see the npc.

if you were scratched, you must find the quest NPC before you go to the shrine. The NPC will find you in town and say 'HEY guess what you;re one of us now - go to this shrine blah blah'

As to the location of the NPC, no idea. I am DC.

I would imagine that it is in the main town somewhere near the entrance.

You can skip the wayshrine NPC. I missed mine. Didn't know the quest. got bit by a WW and then logged off. Never saw a shrine npc after that (on PC).

I'm EP and went to Riften and tripped over the quest NPC the shrine person should have sent me to. Had a quest start arrow over her head. She sent me to the Hirscine shrine.

If you got scratched by a NPC not a player there is a quest giver in the level 35 town for each faction.

Now that you have the infection , you will have to go to Evermore (Daggerfall), Riften (Ebonheart) or Rawl’Kha (Aldmeri). to find the NPC.

Have a look around Rawl'kha, the NPC you're looking for should be there.
