I accidentally abandoned the AD quest "The Staff of Magnus". How can I get it back? Should I find the quest giver or just go to Marbruk and find the guy I needed to find?

I've not dropped that quest but as a stab in the dark, try going to the Mage Guild in Marbruk where the guy is at.Sweetrolls for all!
