FUTURE UPDATE QUESTION - So what's to come for updated maps and future content for console players?

I'm loving the console version as I was quite displeased with the review and feedback of PC players of ESO. The game runs like a champ on console. The graphics are remarkable and the gameplay is addictive.

It's a huge map. I had a few questions in regards to the direction that the console version is heading.

Will we have guild bases?
Will we have personal homes and locations to own?
Will the ENTIRE map be unlocked at some point?
Do you have to fight dragons in the game like you do in Skyrim in the open world?
Is there somewhere that I can stay up to date for upcoming content plans for console?

Thanks,

Upcoming content will be identical to that coming on PC, so already announced for the future, you will see:
    • Imperial City
    • Wrothgar / Orsinium
    • Murkmire
    • Thieves Guild
    • Abah's Landing
    • Dark Brotherhood
    • Clockwork City
    • Spiral Skein (Mephala's Realm)
Some of those may be two parts of the same content. For example, Abah's Landing is expected to be part of the Thieves Guild content.

    Stated as possible:
    • Horse Racing
    • Spellcrafting
    • Justice PvP
    • Dyes for Shields

Also on the list of "want to do but not any time soon":
    • Jewellery Crafting
    • Player Housing

Dragons are not around in this time period, so don't expect to ever see them.

Finally, here is an early version if the online map with zone borders on. I have annotated it with possible zone names based on Elder Scrolls lore (and other sources).

Back before launch, the online map had zone borders on it, which I annotated. They removed the border lines for the current version. The only differences between the original and this one, aside from my annotations, are the border I put down the side of the VH zone, the border between RS and WG, and the border between BF and ST, which are where those borders exist on the in-game map but were missed off this one:

Zone code key is inside the below spoiler. Further analysis can be found on my UESP page.
    • AL Alik'r
    • AN Anequina (including the Rimmen city area, shouldn't be called this as Reaper's March also includes part of Anequina, but this name is in the text files)
    • AU Auridon
    • BE Betnikh
    • BF Bal Foyen
    • BI Bleakrock Isle
    • BK Bangkorai
    • BW Blackwood (as seen in Oblivion)
    • CL Craglorn
    • CH Colovian Highlands (also could be West Weald)
    • CY Cyrodiil
    • DE Deshaan
    • EM Eastmarch
    • FA Falkreath (as seen in Skyrim)
    • GC Gold Coast (as seen in Oblivion)
    • GL Glenumbra
    • GS Greenshade
    • GW Grahtwood
    • HJ Hjaalmarch (as seen in Skyrim)
    • KR Khenarthi's Roost
    • MM Murkmire
    • MT Malabal Tor
    • NB Nibenay Basin (as seen in Oblivion, although the text files just calls this Nibenay, which is inaccurate)
    • NV Nibenay Valley (as seen in Oblivion)
    • PA The Pale (also includes the Winterhold area)
    • RE The Reach (also includes the Haafingar area)
    • RI The Rift
    • RM Reaper's March
    • RS Rivenspire
    • QR Quin'rawl (from the text files, although that says Quin-rawl, which is incorrectly puntuated)
    • SF Shadowfen
    • SH Stormhaven
    • SM Stros M'Kai
    • SO Solstheim (as seen in Bloodmoon, Dragonborn)
    • SS South Summerset (No source for name; I made it up)
    • ST Stonefalls
    • SU Sunforge (from the text files)
    • TE Tenmar (from the text files, this area includes the Corinthe city area)
    • TI Topal Island (from the text files)
    • TM Thornmarsh (as stated in the Loremaster's Archive)
    • VH Velothi Highlands (the northwest Morrowind area with Blacklight, but the in-game map doesn't currently allow for the correct geographical shape)
    • WD The Weeping Desert (from the text files)
    • WG Wrothgar
    • WR Whiterun

Let me start with, this. I love this game and honestly say that it has the most potential of any MMO I have played in the last 10 years. However, despite me defending the Game over and over to folks online and in real life the bad reviews have definitely been deserved from time to time.

The game *is* buggy. Cryodiil is a mess, and the console one will be at the same state eventually. Communication and getting the truth from ZOS about updates has become a running joke in the online communities...the list goes on.

    Now to answer you questions:
1)There has been talk of them adding it a few years from now, there was a robust conversation about it shortly after launch..and nothing since,
    2) See answer #1
    3) If the game lasts that long...which I do hope so.
    4) No, and if they do add dragons that are making a big mistake. We are currently playing in an The Second Era set about 1000 years, give or take, before Skyrim (The 4 Era) ...thus the Dragons are no where to be seen...nor will they be until Alduin shows up and brings them back to life/this world.

and to answer your question about getting up to date information on future content...all i can say is, first that's cute...and second just look at the Quote from ZOS in my signature.

Thanks everyone. Was hoping my post didn't slip past the seasoned forum poster's eye.
