The Great Champion Point Divide 2: Psijic Ambrosia

So it's been seen that someone has 700 champion points already (blows me away). Now enter Psijic Ambrosia....

Is this a balance crisis in the making or just another unreasonable fear? Is this a post-Apocalyptic nightmare for new and casual players? You make the call.

It's just a fear. The diminishing returns kick in around 30 points into an ability, so anything past that will make it to the point of a near worthless gain. To max out in that respect, you'd need roughly 1080 points total. Once you hit that, there's no more point in gaining any more. So with that in mind there's less of a power gap. Just gain the CP at your leisure and if you hit 1080, then good on you. If you don't, then it's less of a big deal. Especially considering that a lot of the CP abilities aren't right for every build.

It's a catch up method. BUT the catch is, the items are exetremly rare and will cost around 100k gold PER potion.Guess who can afford it, the guy with 700CP and guess who can't? The player with 75CP

    good work zeni i guess

tho i agree with the theory, those numbers are highly exagerated.

with diminishing returns down a month or two, a lot of people will have the recipee and it will not be 100k gold per pot.

and people with 100~200 CP can easily make 10k ~ 20k of gold per day NOW..... playing casually.

I doubt they're going to be THAT much, but like I said, you don't really need them. As long as you hit 1080 at some point in the game, you're fine. Not even that, since you don't NEED all the CP buffs.

    I'll back myself up.

I have 7VR14 toons, I'm highly competitive at end game PvE. I do VDSA a lot and sold around 300 VR14 healer rings in NA. Last DSA weekly I put all my toons on the leaderboards and made 3Million. I have 326 CP I think or more need to check.

It wont be hard for me to buy some potions and head into VDSA as I do daily and get 4 CP per run right? Hmm see my point? I also PvP in spare time.

they will, the recipe parts are restricted to writs so the first few months the will be at around 100k++++ each part, the roes will be horribly rare and thus expensive too (otherwise they do not create revenue in the crown shop)
