Endgame in this game is like GW2?

Hello all, I am new to ESO and a former WoW and Guild Wars player.
My question is, is ESO endgame is like GW2, where end game stats with gear is easy to get and you just farm for cosmetics,
OR you grind for good items in PvE like a real MMO? (I know you craft gear, but is it easy to craft or do you grind for materials in PvE?)
