Stealing problems on PS4(porbably on Xbone too)

so i just found out the hard way one new problem with stealing that is now present on consoles

the jump button, X on ps4, A on Xbone(i presume), is also the interact and steal button. so if you're in a house/shop/bank/where ever, and you try to jump on to something and you happen to be looking at something marked for stealing, then you'll steal it with out trying to

now on PC there is an add on that keeps you from stealing unless you are stealthed and hidden but Consoles don't have the options of adding add ons

i just wish there was at least an option to move the steal r interact button somewhere else, true there is the option to move jump to R3 but i like having X as my jump button

That is a porblem. I have learned to imitute you exarctly.

Seriously though, yes, it's an irritation. Hopefully they will allow button remapping in a future update. It's difficult to assign a universal control scheme taking into account five abilities as well as blocking and regular attack. Long ago I figured they'd implement a shift key, but I guess they simply decided not to go that route. For now, just take your time and try not to grab the items. Or if you do, don't get caught.
