This is the thing I miss most. I was just watching a video of a PC player and numbers all over the place and even a message that popped up "Ultimate Ready." Damn man I want that. I don't have a PC at the moment outside my ultrabook in which I know won't play eso effectively. The disadvantage of a console I guess..

While certainly highly preferred by certain players, it is far from necessary in most cases. Most HP bars by most enemies get a visible decrease when a hit is successful, but for things like keep walls and certain bosses where multiple players are involved your personal damage output is exceeding hard to estimate.

I think I'd like it simply for telling me if my damage output is increasing. Get a new spell, goes up in rank..what kind of numbers are we getting. Don't even know when I get a critical hit..

This is the one thing i think add ons were good for. No offense to anyone, but if you need the system to manage your skill bar for you then that is just lazy/sad/boring. Part of PvP for me would be ruined if my knowledge of the game was better then my opponent but he had the latest and best add ons. To me, my personal opinion is its like cheating. Add on for all the skyshard locations.....cheating. Add on to tell you when your ultimate is ready, not really cheating, but it takes a simple half second glance at your bar to see for yourself. I chose the console version as my friends all play console, but without add ons, it seems the playing field is level where knowledge and skill becomes more needed.

That being said, i am baffled as to why there is no number indicator for damage. I want to see mt new spells damage, not read it on paper. I would love to see that added as it in no way helps players have a leg up, everyone would have it as the console version you can't pick and choose. The other thing. It may be in the game, but is there a place where i can see the time left for consumables i have used? These are the only two things i think add ons would be good for.

Just my two cents. Lovin the game. Cheers

For what it's worth, this and buff/debuff trackers were both brought up in the AMA they did the other day, and they said it was something they were investigating.

I get it. We've gone years of playing ES with no damage numbers, healing numbers, debuffs, or buff indicators. But this is an MMO. That makes things completely different! You have to understand that with an MMO comes math, and those of us who can do math want to make sure the results are correct.

That being said we should be able to see OUR damage, heals on our character or our character heals on others. When my freakin Dragon's Breath and its morphs wear off I want to know. When my [insert major/minor X] falls off, so I don't renew it prematurely, I want to know. I don't want to count to 10 in my head, let alone 6 or 7 other buff/debuff timers.

What really grinds my gears: I don't know when I've landed a crit. Yeah the health bar drops dramatically in comparison to a non critical hit, but how can I be certain it was MY critical hit? There should be at least an animation like...blood in an M rated game. Let that sh** gush when I slice you harder than the other 10 times I sliced.
Can't think of a cool quote to write!

Give me my add on's. To make things easier for you, ZOS, just give them to me. I need 'em, my wife keeps on wondering why I'm counting to 8 all night..
