Disappearing quests and quest breakdown/ error

My quests seem to come and go? One minute I've got the whole boarder filled in with multiple quests, then it reverts to three?

Another problem I've encountered is with finishing the quests.

One that I played with another person (and completed) is still showing as active (Guardians one with the Wyrd Sisters)

The other is while gaining my crafting experience with the runes- I accidentally used a different rune that i had already picked up and created the wrong glyph. Now the mage man is still in the enchantments house waiting for me to give him the finished glyph and I have no idea where to get another essence rune from?
I think this muck up on my part is also stopping me from completing a daily quest I picked up- to create provisions (which I need to buy recipes for), as I've looked all over for a seller of the recipes and I'm now thinking it's this chap (that's waiting for me to hand in the glyph) that I need to see?

I would recommend you changing your thread title to include some kind of [CONSOLE] or [XB1] tag in it. Might want to move over to either XB1 Tech Support or Players Helping Players as well.

You can get essence runs or any other mats from guildstore or you just could run around and farm them.

Not sure abotu the other quests...

you can get runes out in the world.

They are found in "heavy bags" around different places, but mostly you harvest them from glowing rock things. They come in 3 colors, matching your inventory colors. Purple/bue = purple runes yellow = yellow orange/red = the kind that makes them more powerful (white,green,blue,pruple, orange) look around near rocks and ruins. it may take you a while to find specific ones.

Also you can deconstruct glyphs you find into runes at the enchanter table, but you will usually only get 1 of the 3 components back. So if you still have the one you made by mistake you might be able to get the bit you want back.

Already tried deconstructing it- didn't get the essence :-(
Never mind- I have lots of other stuff to get on with!

Loving the game, forgiving the bugs, with such a complex huge game there are bound to be a few teething problems :-)

Hoping my crowns will be available later (from the ESO) so I can buy a horse :-D
