PS4: is it me or are upper craglorn mats spawning much slower than on PC?

Went on my VR14 to farm nirncrux in upper crag, same route as I do on my PC.

It was mid morning on EU server and I didn't see one person the whole time I was there.

But going from one end to the other and back again, hardly any nodes seem to regularly re spawn at all. On the PC they re spawn what feels like 100 times faster. In fact I can find more on the PC with about 20 other players competing than being on my own on the PS4.

Edit: Played today (12/6) and the bit below is not true, the ore did spawn there today, so I think it's just slower spawn rates.

Some nodes that are on PC didn't appear to be there at all on PS4, well didn't spawn in the 2 hrs I was there. For example, the tree by the waterfall near sanctum, has wood spawn like the PC but on the PC if you walk behind the tree to the top of the waterfall, a ore node regularly spawns. I must have gone there over 30 times, no ore.

Anyone else noticed this or am I going mad?

fixed it. besides i hope so, this would counter the streams of high end players thinking easy gold was to be had.
PLEASE REPLY TO ME WITH @dsalter otherwise i'm likely to miss the reply if its not my own thread

Hehe, only reason i didnt put nirncrux was because I couldn't remember how it was spelt.

I've not sold one item from crag on my PC, I make stuff for guildies for free.

Just finished researching my first nirncrux weapon on PC and only started farming them a couple of weeks before console went live. So far I've found 3, one was used by a fellow guildies who made me the nirncrux weapon I researched.

I was seeing if I could find a few for personal/guild use today.

I'm sure you won't believe me, but being in a great smallish (50 odd members) guild that has two guilds to get two guild stores that we can all freely take what we want from, I've had almost zero need to purchase anything from guild traders and we've only managed to win a kiosk a couple of times shortly after they were introduced, hence I haven't sold much either.

I've never had as much as 100,000 gold and apart from bank/inv upgrades, haven't seen the need for lots of gold. Repairs and PvP stuff are virtually the only things I spend money on.

It's either an evil conspiracy or just that spawn times depend on the number of people being in the area.

Besides nirncrux farming is not really the fastest or best way to earn gold. Even killing trolls and taking their money yield more.
