Please add "trash" to console version

Coming from the PC version of the game, I quite miss the option to put items in "trash" while out questing so that I can conveniently "sell all trash" when back in a city. Why wasn't this included in the console version? Or is it included and I'm so daft that I've missed it?

Also, I would really love a minimap. Why wasn't this added with the option to disable for those seeking immersion?

There is no minimap on the PC unless you use an addon. I dont think they will be making a minimap anytime soon.

it wasn't added because it is not part of the basic UI. You said you came from PC, so you should know that minimap is never a part of the PC UI unless you use add-ons (to which console is not allowed to have).

There is a trash section, but only for the items that sole purpose is to sell. I assume you want it for other items too, which I would like as well when selling stuff to vendors

Adding both the ability to mark items and trash (and have the game remember it) and means to mark items as "safe" so you cannot sell, discard, or disassemble them would be very good additions to the console version of the game.

IMHO, its better player can choose whats important, so you dont need to go through every item and put them trash. My way is more convenient and faster us for players.

There is no minimap on the PC unless you use an addon. I dont think they will be making a minimap anytime soon.

Loot drop is an addon too which was incorporated in the console version, yes?

it wasn't added because it is not part of the basic UI. You said you came from PC, so you should know that minimap is never a part of the PC UI unless you use add-ons (to which console is not allowed to have).

You are correct, however, lootdrop is present in the console version which was an addon for pc's. My thoughts were that they could add this as well. I suppose time will tell.

Would be nice for sure. Managing inventory would be made a little bit more convenient. Not too bothered about the minimal but having it as an option would be nice too.

I personally really hate when grouping how annoying it is to find your fellow group members.

Scroll through the Inventory menu and see if there's a section called "Junk". That's what you're looking for; "Trash" is an item quality, not an inventory section (although serves the same purpose).

If Junk is not there, it should be added, as it's an existing part of the PC UI.
If Junk is there, there must be a way to put something in it.

Something that I would like to see (for PC and Console) is a toggle option to "Automatically Junk all Trash items" and "Automatically sell all Junk" (I know it's possible as an add-on on PC, but it would be a useful default UI feature).

Yes that junk section is there, however I would rather it hold more than foul hide and carapace. I want to be able to add items I deem trash to this section, like on the PC version. Then when I goto the merchants I can "sell all junk" just like on the PC, instead of selling items one at a time.

Ah right, I didn't realise that functionality didn't exist on consoles. That's something else that seems to have disappeared from the New UI with no good reason. Out of curiosity, that section that you have that you can't add anything to: is it called Junk or Trash?

There used to be a built in minimap during early beta but ZOS decided the game was better without one ...
