The digital Imperial Edition for PS4 is much more expensive than the Standard edition + imperial upgrade. And if you buy it, your PS4 only downloads the standard edition + you will have the imperial edition upgrade through Crown store. IT DOESNT EVEN SAY IMPERIAL EDITION nowhere, not even the Game Icon.

I made a huge mistake buying the imperial edition, I was deceived, please dont make the same mistake.

Just buy the standard edition, buy 3000Crowns, then upgrade to imperial edition for 2100Crowns and it will be cheaper for you, plus you will still have those additional 900Crowns.

This is a total nonsense. I have reported to the developer and noone even cares.

    Nice try. The Imperial edition is only $20 more than the standard edition. If you have the Imperial edition, it won't let you buy the upgrade as it is grayed out. To buy the standard edition and then enough crowns to upgrade, you would need to spend $24.99 more. Yes, you would have 1100 extra crowns but if your goal is to save money, why pay the extra?

    Well not sure if this the case for you, but there are actually TWO Imperial Editions!

    Regular Imp Ed.... Normal goodies.

    The "Premium" Imp Edition is all that PLUS 5500 ($40 dollar value) crowns.

    I think I worked it out that you actually gain something like 20 dollars worth of freebies going that route.

    My wanna check your crowns and see what your balance is. You may have purchased the premium imp ed unknowingly!

    In EUROPE, THE IMPERIAL EDITION IS €25 more than the standard and 3000 Crowns is only €20. So you can buy IMPERILA for 2100Crowns and save money and have extra 900 Crowns.

    Just be grateful that the world bank will one day enslave us all with a one government system and a one world currency.

    The Czech PSN store sells 3000Crowns for 579CZK, while the difference between Imperial and Standard is 600CZK! That is where I bought the game. I wrote to developers and they did not care!

    Off topic but I made a suggestion a while back to allow us to have forum avatars with profile options so we could indicate whether we were on the NA or EU megaserver abd whether we played on PC, PS/4 or XBox One but nothing came of it.

    Or someones takes two seconds to just outline it in the post. You can't get mad if you don't explain that it is either for EU or Euros which both would give away there is a difference in the US.

    An option to tick if its exclusive to a server or console would be nice but in the end the OP likely wouldnt know until afterwards that its different between NA and EU until posting here and getting feedback from NA players.

    It isn't right, but there is little you can expect from ZoS on this matter. Bringing this up is a bit of public service, and hopefully this thread's visibility will stop others from wasting good money.

    Just realise that there seems to be a cash mentality within certain echelons at ZoS, whether or not this is temporary a moot point, as only ZoS management can change the direction they seem intent on taking ESO(TU).

    TLDR we;ve seen it all before... once the accountants take over there is little humanity left in a company, nor love for its customers :P
