ZOS, right now your PC player base is bleeding morale, disenfranchised by a perceived console bias, canceling their subs and going into hibernation, or just walking away for other games.

It's time for a morale booster. Let us know what the future holds for us PC players! It's time! No really it's time. :)

Geeky Devs and creative types are not PR people. Also i think they may have let the negativity of the PC player base get to them. We have been harsh, in all honesty. From experience I know that it can be very challenging to not let your customers get to you and have a "us vs them" culture develop internally. But I do sense that on some level this may have happened concerning the PC player base.

It's really hard when you are working your butts off and your customers go nuts when they have no idea how much work goes into things on the back end.

But much pain and suffering and profit loss can be avoided with simple communication and transparency.

You can destroy our perceptions and preconceived notions ZOS. You just have to do it. :)

The Champion System should have rewarded Champion Points based off of achievements and feats earned through excelling at end game content not grinding your life away vs mobs in order to stay competitive. This system is uncreative and is a great example of extremely lazy system design. Yes, you should be embarrassed

Really? I am PC player and have not once thought of quitting. The game is amazing and I am not bleeding morale or needing attention from zos.

Please don't speak for all of us and try not to act so dire. There's things that need fixes (bugs) sure but every game has them. Other games also have things that not everyone agrees with but you cannot please every person. Time would be better spent submitting in game tickets for bugs or things you feel need improvement with well thought out suggestions for them.

Remember to give constructive criticism so you can give helpful feedback instead of just complaining about issues.

Sorry for any spelling or grammar issues - posting from phone on very short break at work.

I love the game, don't get me wrong. Also yes it is completely appropriate to blanket a problem/base with a all encompassing statement. There will always be exceptions when dealing with anything, but to live by exceptions is like saying "no i don't need to save for retirement, I'm going to win the lottery!"

A good quote I have always try to remember is "a happy customer might tell a few people, but a unsatisfied customer tells a thousand others."

Even if it was just a few unhappy people opposed to a vast majority of satisfied. You still have to address the unhappy few less their dissatisfaction spread.

Zos does not deserve a player base if they just ignore it after buying there game. that's why I refuse to play this game at its current build.

I don't take issue with marketing. The console release is exciting!! They are going to have giveaways and exclusives. That would be insane not to.

I do take issue with ZOS allowing the toxic preconceived notion that the PC player base is undervalued.

It's all on them to nip that in the bud.

Well as a PC player I would like a real world item giveaway. I could use that coffee table book and that statue would look great on my desk. I don't think we have gotten one yet I may be wrong but I don't think I am. My main issue is a greed based one.

I agree. I'm very excited to get my copy after work and install it on my One.

If the perception is coming across that any part of a game's player base is being ignored, then the onus is on the developer/Community Management to definitely quell those ideas.

It's true in any game, an ignored player base is a shrinking player base.

This is exactly the same as the people who cried about the Wolfhound during the Steam sale release. I could care less about any figurine, plush, candy, sprinkled doughnut, custom garden gnome, Molag Bal themed rims, Skyshard nightlight, or any other crap they use to promote their product. I care very deeply, however, about getting screwed as a loyal customer. They can give away whatever they want to promote console sales. But they better not pass over their paying customers when it comes time to actually deliver content. (And by my watch, they are long overdue.)

If one was a nay sayer and spreader of doom, one might think that the competition is set up (with the stipulation of a minimum number of hours being played to enter) that it was to maybe.....assist....in the announcement of game hours achieved over the first week or two of Console launch.... *shrugs*

Of course, that's only what a nay sayer would say.

A solid update at they very least is far overdue.

Although this could be because of the under performance of the PC version, they may have halted all projects until the console version has shown viability and profit. This is a understandable business decision and one that you really couldn't swing to your customer base.

"Hey everyone! Due to the under performance of the PC version, we have halted all production on further content until the console version turns a profit! Thank your for your understanding!"

This is probably whats going on but we will never officially know about it. It's just business. If you are in a hole, don't dig deeper. Sucks for us though.

The under performance is mostly due to the fact that they dropped the ball for the console launch a year ago and had to scramble to fix it. With all hands on deck to fix the issues the PC development halted. No new real content in half a year will make people get bored with MMO and leave. Especially after one of their main selling points was a steady stream of new content.

I've found that many times people can be perfectly reasonable when you tell them the truth. Not all of the time, mind you, but there are enough reasonable people on the planet that can handle reality to usually make it a better decision to tell the whole truth. (There are obvious and rational exceptions. Don't mince words here.) Matter of fact, ZOS's silence and half answers have caused a great many of the upheavals in this community.

But you misunderstand me. I don't think anyone here reasonably expects to receive anything for PC for a little while at minimum because they HAVE to tend to the console release.(Not to mention, console release was one of the promises they were failing to deliver on.) They are doing what is fairly reasonable at this point. But once we get beyond the initial console stage ZOS is going to have to start delivering content. IF it starts being very console favored, I'll take issue with it.
