It's time for a moral booster. Let us know what the future holds for us PC players! It's time! No really it's time.

Wait want another punch in the gut PC players. Not even a week after launch the console players are getting a give away.

They're trying to build a strong player base on consoles... there's an issue with this, why?

I agree. I'm very excited to get my copy after work and install it on my One.acolyte2475b14_ESO wrote: »I don't take issue with marketing. The console release is exciting!! They are going to have giveaways and exclusives. That would be insane not to.
I do take issue with ZOS allowing the toxic preconceived notion that the PC player base is undervalued.
It's all on them to nip that in the bud.

If one was a nay sayer and spreader of doom, one might think that the competition is set up (with the stipulation of a minimum number of hours being played to enter) that it was to maybe.....assist....in the announcement of game hours achieved over the first week or two of Console launch.... *shrugs*
Of course, that's only what a nay sayer would say.

This is exactly the same as the people who cried about the Wolfhound during the Steam sale release. I could care less about any figurine, plush, candy, sprinkled doughnut, custom garden gnome, Molag Bal themed rims, Skyshard nightlight, or any other crap they use to promote their product. I care very deeply, however, about getting screwed as a loyal customer. They can give away whatever they want to promote console sales. But they better not pass over their paying customers when it comes time to actually deliver content. (And by my watch, they are long overdue.)

A solid update at they very least is far overdue.
Although this could be because of the under performance of the PC version, they may have halted all projects until the console version has shown viability and profit. This is a understandable business decision and one that you really couldn't swing to your customer base.
"Hey everyone! Due to the under performance of the PC version, we have halted all production on further content until the console version turns a profit! Thank your for your understanding!"
This is probably whats going on but we will never officially know about it. It's just business. If you are in a hole, don't dig deeper. Sucks for us though.

The under performance is mostly due to the fact that they dropped the ball for the console launch a year ago and had to scramble to fix it. With all hands on deck to fix the issues the PC development halted. No new real content in half a year will make people get bored with MMO and leave. Especially after one of their main selling points was a steady stream of new content.
