it took me 3 hours and 10 minutes from entering the code to playing the game on $40 a month cable

Forum is for all is was ZOS has stated and console exclusive chat will die down over the next two weeks and make for more general content for all.

I don't blame ZOS, I live in the middle of nowhere and have 2 choices for internet, crappy 5MB DSL, or worse 4MB satellite capped at 50GB per month.

Just would have been nice to preload is all.

Ya you almost have to plan on playing the game a day later vs release night anymore. I remember being able to get a game at midnight and start playing right away. These days I just plan on the downloads/installs and updates taking hours and not playing until after work the next day.

My comment is not a rant as its the same for all major release games.

Except his comment is not a technical issue. While it could have been placed in with the 12% thread it doesn't belong in tech support.

By my calculations, assuming that it's not going to speed up at all, I'm looking at about ~60 hours. That's 2 and a half days if everything goes well.
