You said it. They're still happily botting away. Wonder if the report function is not working
No one said that is botting. The botting comes when it is completely automated/macroed, and by the description OP gave, it is.By the way, grinding is not against the games rules and it is not botting.
Exactly, and because XP was super nerfed in Craglorn, a lot of players are grinding their CP out in the last Cadwell's Gold zone for their alliance.

Grinding isn't against the rules assuming there's a real live person doing the grinding.
If it's the same character in the same spot using the same skills all day every day, gives absolutely no response to whispers or shows no reaction to anything going on around them of any sort ever, then it's either a human being with considerable focus and an amazing tolerance for tedium or it's a bot.
While I'm hesitant to accuse anybody of being a bot, I would still be inclined to bring suspicious behavior to a GM's attention.

In that instance, it is Most likely a bot.
However, there is the off chance it could be a real person just pressing the same button over and over again for a single skill and not looking while they gain XP and watch Netflix, with the chat bar turned off and otherwise not paying much attention as to what is going on.

You pretty much stop gaining mob XP in Bangkorai at level 48. Grinding CP there is like grinding a wall at a night club.
You can... but you'll just come home empty-handed and frustrated.
Or maybe it's an After Console ™ test. You get scratched by a bot in Bangkorai, take a quest line, and at the end you can transform into a Templar with better resource management.
If you see potential bot activity, please report it. You can do this in-game, or by submitting a ticket on the help portal. We escalated the particular issue brought up in the opening post earlier today, but since the discussion has continued we wanted to step in to post those instructions.
Back when there was that insta-spawning jute bug, and you'd have 3-4 bots camped on every spawn site constantly harvesting, I used to pull bull netches onto them in Stonefalls all the time. It wasn't really that effective (there were just too many of them), but it was satisfying.Go kite some mobs to them that drop AOEs. Frag, you're it!

I don't think you would have to worry about making a second or third report on a bot as long as a reasonable length of time passed, like once a day if you notice it. They may have done something about it and it came back. Some of the bot names I saw back in the first few weeks of release are convoluted enough that I am not going to remember it from day to the next.
Abusing the reporting system is more like reporting a player for legitimately beating you in PvP or just reporting a player because you don't like them so you decide to make up stuff to get them banned.

Ya, I don't think u get in trouble for reporting them multiple times in a row. "back in the day" i reported these bots several times in a row. And btw...this was taken in May 2014, and the bots then were EVERYWHERE...so you guys are seeing this still?
