Suggestion: Implement joining/following x deity/daedra for each option.
Simplest end: Pray at statue for boon (like mundus, but different).
Middle-end options: Gain ring, robe, dress etc. appropriate gear that befits that x.
High-end/long-term: Factions for each, quests, skill lines, etc.

Great idea! Would be also cool if one could donate crowns to the church to show his utmost devotion and bigotry and level up the skill line!0 -

I'd love to see something along those lines... having a choice to delcare your character for folloowing a particular divine or daedra, much like the werewolf and vampire choices (since werewolf in a way is kinda choosing Hircine already...)
Getting a "faith" line, maybe one active "blessing of -X-" skill in tune with the dietys flavor (so, say, a blessing of Arkay might bestow increased defense while fighting undead and daedra, blessing of Azura would buff magic a bit, blessing of Sheogorath might have a random effect, with a 20% chance of it being a debuff... etc.) and a couple passives that also match the power worshipped...
Raising that skill line by doing things pleasing to your choosen faith, be it donating gold at your flavor of shrine, or doing daily quests... (say, Arkay might want you to kill -x- undead in some region/dwelve, while Mara might require you gather -x- amount of alchemy ingredients used to make healing potions, Mephala might like some civilian murdered, etc.)0
