Dramatic increase in Crashes since mondays patch

I as well as everyone else in my guild has noticed a large increase in crashes. I was wondering if the community is also feeling this.

The type of crash is the program freezing and you need to force close it.

I am crashing at a normal rate

I love that there isn't any option about " I never crash" assuming the game always crash. Even if that's close to reality, I did hear from people that their game never crashed.

Of course mine totally freezes on rare occasions but nothing different from the usual.

Mine is crashing much more often, but I am also spending much more time in PvP, so I'm not sure if it's the patch or just the buggy PvP portion of the game.

my game never crashed outside of Cyrodiils ***-storm and rarely then at that.

I crashed 10 times in the span of 25 minutes a few days ago and now the pve lag and crashes are starting to happen.

I have not experienced a crash for quite a while now, but then I am not using any addons and only questing through Cadwell's Silver.

For the people complaining there is no "i dont crash" option, that would be the "i crash at the normal rate".

If normal for you is never then there you go >.>

The normal rate being 1-3 game freezes/CTD per game session. This has been happening since 1.6 went live and I am fully confident that ZoS will never do anything to fix it. Much like having to run repair as a normal part of playing after every patch, the freezing and crashing has become a standard game feature.

if the rate is zero, its still a rate.... of zero.... which is a rate... or frequency if you prefer that term.

I can't recall having any previous crashes. The fact that I crash at all is twice as many, which is about once a day. However, I'm confident that it is partly, if not mostly, due to AOs.

EDIT:
I say this, as it usually crashes as I'm actively changing something within an AO's normal functionality or immediately exiting out of it.

The rest of the time, the lag starts to stutter and it progressively gets worse over the next 30 seconds. Then it sto... ... ... ...

I will say i had recently picked up master merchant and thought it might be part of the problem. I still have severe latency issues but deleting it (mainly because useless) has somewhat resolved the issue for me. Now i just hit some infinite loading screens which an alt F4 fixes.

I usually get crashes only rarely, but I had two yesterday. It's also been laggier then usual, and this is just normal adventuring and leveling up, not Cyrodil. Many of my fights will start with my first attack, lag for a few seconds while the enemies scatter, and then eventually go back to normal. It's rather annoying, as instead of a nice little group to aoe, the archers and mages have run off in opposite directions, and the fighters run back to do that annoying little throw/snare attack they do.

I stopped having crashing problems once I stopped going down the stairs on my way to turn in crafting writs in glenumbra. I always crashed there.

It is possible I did crash once last night. I can't quite remember. I think I crashed in a dungeon.

I've only ever crashed once since launch and have never had significant lag/loading screen issues, but I don't go to Cyrodil.

Normal rate of crash-age and infinite load screens.

Latency has good to slightly better but I suspect its more to do with the recent FCC rulings on net neutrality in the U.S. than the recent patch. The EU doesn't have net neutrality so EU players wouldn't be seeing any improvement in latency on this front.

Outside C I hardly crash. Maybe once or twice a week (and on average I play at least one hour daily).

There is one very nasty crash that's actually more like a complete freeze than an actual crash. In a crash the ESO process does a CTD nice and easy... in said freeze I have to make it go *poof* using windows task manager because it just stopped responding sitting there for ever.
Almost always happens in a busy town/major player hub and I highly suspect it's caused by some other player (not deliberately, not their fault... well, "fault" as in just being there). I *** hate that one freeze...

And there is another "semi-crash" when the client suddenly drops down to 1-2fps for no apparent reason; from that one it usually recovers back up to stable 60fps within a couple of seconds. That one may or may not be addon-related (I use tons of them) but it does not happen often enough to make me go out trying to hunt down a potential ill-behaving addon. Dont have the time or the nerves for that spiel...

I have been having some issues with lag... in PvE. I even crashed once:( and had to restart twice.

im now crashing two to 3 times perday, i have excellent hardware so im running it on max all 60fps. That might be the reason, but it seems to me this is pretty normal in the game no matter what u do it will always crash a few times per day happens to all my friends too.

Right now it feels like the game has gone back to beta.
I hardly ever crash at all but today in two hours of gameplay I had 3 crashes, not to mention odd bugs like perma-death (ghost form until restart of the client) , needing to challenge proctors twice (Auridon's Harsh Lesson quest) before they finally aggro, unlootable corpses, stuck combat animations, just to name a few.

But maybe it's really just rain ...

Edit: to clarify I only had three crashes (so far) but voted like I did because bugs that force me to restart the client are equally as annoying and disrupting.

Hadn't crashed much at all Wednesday and Thursday. I thought that maybe all the Windows updates fixed something, but I seem to be making up for it and then some today. I've crashed at least half a dozen times in just the last hour and a half or so.
