TESO PVP == Unplayable Lag.

So i came back to TESO after a 9 month break, and i'm sad to see that absolutely nothing has improved regarding PVP/Cyrodiil performance.
Unless you can find a small fight, the game is completely unplayable due to the massive lag and problems.
A zerg manages to open a keep, grab a scroll and walk out without taking any damage because 40 defenders are just standing around waving their hands and swords for show.

Skills don't work.
Doors don't open.
Sieges don't work.
Mounts don't work.
Nothing works.

This is no problem on my side, my system and connection are fine. Everyone complains about this on chat and TS, all the time. Everyone who plays Cyrodiil will probably know this.

So over a year after release nothing improved, is it safe to say that these problems won't or can't be fixed? Is this engine or netcode not capable of the big fights?
A real shame because without these issues this game would be so much fun.

Any official response please?

    Nothing new here. Their custom engine is borked and can't deliver as advertised on large scale battles. I don't see that changing anytime soon. Right now their primary focus is console release. I agree - a real shame.

    I don't have the insight of the ESO architecture in regards of their engine, but as far I can tell they suffer under the same problems as so many MMOs before. They wanted too much, too much for DX11 to handle.

    Depending on the players setup, this has more or less impact on the gameplay. That said, Matt mentioned recently that they want to jump on the DX12 train, so that should help a lot! I have sent a question to Kai for the game event this weekend, if its considered then we might soon know more about their plans there.

    My own experience with DX12 is very positive, but a lot of that is pre release and from conventions and we all know that people tend to be very optimistic during presentations, so we need to wait and see.

    The joke is on us who payed for the game + subs. Im not disapointed or angry, I just feel stupid I didnt quit earlier and even worse that I came back when game went f2p expecting the game would have improvemed the last 7 months. But no... still boring and even more laggy and broken then before + get to know that even zos have given up on trying to fix the laggs lol.
    Hope the cash I used on your game went to something more then champagne & cigarrs.

    Playing on Thornblade pretty actively, also on peak hours.

    Zero or very little lag.

    That's because everyone left Thornblade for Chillrend or Azura's Star (or are playing on Blackwater Blade with alts)

    Come to Chillrend during a three-faction fight over a keep with pre-mades spamming Purge and Steel Tornado. You'll see it
