The Great Console Copy Money Lending Game

Quick question for the devs;

Lets say someone convinced several members of their guild to temporarily lend them a ton of in-game gold. Gold, that was then copied over to that person's console copy and then afterwards given back to their guildmates on the PC. Would this be within the bounds acceptable in-game behavior, so long as interest wasn't applied of course? We would literally just be borrowing something and then giving it right back as soon as the copy was complete.

I haven't actually done this of course, but wanted to check in here to make sure it wasn't something that may come back to bite me in the...

I'm not even sure if in-game gold transfers over with our characters or when the exact cutoff date is for when things get copied over, but thought it was an interesting idea.

I think the game cutoff date for transfer was yesterday. But they could easily bring it back for others that missed the chance. And as far as the whole gold lending.. I think it might be okay if the guild mates give you their consent and you stay true to your word and give it back to them? I'm not entirely sure about how all that works either. And the gold does copy over. Everything you have basically does, besides the crowns on your account.

I know it's too late to purchase the console copy for those who haven't already, but when is the cutoff date for when items are transferred over?

No its not too late to pre order the game, because it comes out in June. June 7th I believe. But the items are copied over whenever you do make the purchase and redeem it on your account and confirm I assume on the console version.

Not how it works. All copies happen at the same time. They havent set a date but said it will be before the June launch.

Hmm well what I'd like to know is, can we still get a copy before the June release? Or did they cut off that deal?

The copy was only for people that bought and set up a PC account before the end of June 2014. The offer includes a digital copy of the game on console so you don't need to buy it again.

Someone already posted this and ZOS responded to the thread. I don't have the link but ingame giving of gold is up to the people

It's earned legitimately and should be OK. Others will be taking a chunk out of their guild banks to do the same as guild stuff doesn't copy but don't take my word for it.

You can no longer purchase the ability to copy your characters to console the offer ended yesterday.
