Option to transfer Account to Console REMOVED early.

All official information from ZOS and from the recent ESO live indicated that today 5/9/2015 would be the last day to transfer your account to console.

Several people are reporting here and on reddit that that option has been removed from the online store.

Last time I checked, it is still today. Why was the option removed early and how do we transfer like we were promised we would be able to?

I thought all the news, emails, alerts, etc all said to purchase the transfer BY May 9th, not through May 9th. Big difference.

It was available on May 9th till about a few hours ago.

In that case, if it said "by May 9th", they actually gave you extra time to do it.

Hmm, if only they had some way to communicate when the timed offer expired, to all those PC players who might be INGAME playing the game, and thus maybe not 100% on top of what going on outside of Tamriel.. o wait

If you knew it expired on or by May 9th, common sense would dictate to take care of business by the 8th at the LATEST.

I was thinking of that at first too, then I remembered that some people actually get paid on Saturdays (especially early teens working small part time jobs that get paid in cash). If one of them needed another paycheck before they could buy it, then they couldn't buy it on the 8th and would have to wait until the 9th.

EDIT: Nevermind, you had 29 days to buy it. The paycheck excuse doesn't work in this case.

Kinda Peeved...
there was an emergency last week that cleaned out my savings and whatnot so I had to wait till my next paycheck to get it (get paid weekly woot.)
I got paid thursday but did not get off of work until the bank closed both thursday or friday. (oh darn..)
I thought that I had one more day so I went to the bank this morning took mah mom and gma out for breakfast for mothers day (leaving the state tomorrow) and once I got home went to the page to buy it...and the option is gone.

I am a sad panda. If this is the only chance I had to transfer the character I may just say screw it and just not play it. but if there will be a way later to transfer (even if I have to pay the whole amount to buy the game again...ugh) I will be less sad.

(The whole deadline thing is kinda stupid in my opinion...but what do i know.)

Well people had 29 days so considering we knew it was coming for over 6 months at some point and we knew it was $20 it's kinda their fault if they missed out and not ZOS.

That may sound harsh but it didn't say May 9th at 11:59 pm

I never got the email, I had only heard of it. I didn't know they had an entire 29 days. In that case, I agree with NewBlackSmurf, the paycheck excuse I presented earlier doesn't really work. They had plenty of time to buy it, and shouldn't have waited until the last minute.

Unless someone can come up with a good excuse that prevents a person from getting an extra $20 within a full month's time, this really does fall squarely into the "you snooze, you loose" field.

If you have a credit card that expires 05/2015 does that mean it stops working on 05/01/2015??? No it does not. The last day it works is 05/31/2015.
