Ok so I know that a lot of people complain about the Sorcerer Blink ability, and I don't want to just sound like one of the people who whines that it's OP. I just have one MAJOR problem with it. Sorcerers can still use if even if they are Immobilized... WHAT?!? Immobilizes are meant to prevent all movements so why When I Cast Dark Talons Does He Just Spam The Teleport Blink And get away from me because I can't catch him.

Please Make Roots and Immobilizes STOP Sorcerers from using this ability.

He's still immobilized post-blink, and every gap-closing skill in the game has a longer range than Bolt Escape. Load one of those Fossilize is also really good.

I'm just annoyed that it seems like it should stop the ability from working because it's like movement but instead I just sea a Blue Blurr getting away form me with Talons Still Round It's legs

i know its a "teleport" but still all other gap closers are stopped by this. not sure if ambush is actually..

Talons is an oddball in that it is a "soft CC." It doesn't control the target completely, as they can Dodge Roll or Bolt out. However, it also does not grant CC immunity. That last bit is a pretty important advantage for the caster.

Immobilise is good enough without locking teleports down as well. This should be handled by the "Silence" status effect that prevents casting, which is extremely under supported, but already present in the game. Personally I'd toss "Silence" into the Dual Wield skill line to give synergy within the skill line with its Ruffian passive (which grants bonus damage against Silenced targets). Personally I'd remove the Snare from Hidden Blade and it's morphs and put in Silence instead, which would cut down on Bolt Escape through the natural process of counter play. To prevent abuse it should be implemented as a CC (with an obvious animation tell) and therefore breakable as well as ignored while one has CC immunity.

In PvP I'd probably also look into changing the Lightening Balista to inflict Silence on effected targets, to really shred the zergs that like to stack heals and run Purge to shrug off the Meatbag Cat healing debuff. In PvE, enemies that can targeted inflict Silence with their dagger throw would be much more deadly than they are currently with a snare, ever so slightly making PvE a hair more challenging.

Generally there'd be either very few player choices that inflict Silence, or a large number of them with a specific counter option (Light Armor skill Annulment and it's morphs for example would specifically grant Silence immunity for short periods).

In short, we just need more support for Silence to combat cast spam of all ranges, not just the annoying Bolt spam.

The class has some awesome abilities.
So does every other class.
Get over it.

I will use your logic now:
Arrows are meant to damage enemies not be reflected back and damage you because of Reflective Scales.
I am supposed to be able to target my enemy. They shouldn't be able to use Shadow Cloak so I can not see them.

realistically it should.

however Roots dont affect alot of things they should.

Chain pull any archer or mage in DSA and immedetly Talon them, they will still do their "walk back" ability where they just back track to get more distance, pulling the talons with them.

Talons is OP. ZOS, please nerf Talons.
