after vet 10

the fact that i made vet rank 10 and i ve made cadwell silver and gold and after that no more solo content... killed the game for me... if i ever want to do anything more in this game i must be forced to grp? to wait hours and maybe then i get a grp for something? rly?! game dies after vet 10 for me.

I feel your pain as I only play this game alone and im vet 11 and stalled cus of this very reason, of course I play in Cyrodiil doing slow questing to get horrible xp

Deshaan, Shadowfen, Eastmarch and The Rift.
So, wipe the snot and go find what "solo content" did you miss.

You and the few others that jump into the countless threads on vet levels claiming "derp, I'm v12 and only on the first zone of cadwell's gold, there's no problem here" are either doing significant grinding, or spending 5 times the amount of time normal people do at a quest hub area to kill mobs. Unless there is a massive bug floating around with XP, silver was designed to take you v1-v5ish, and gold was designed to take you v5ish to v10. Nothing has changed here. I did full map completion on my alt recently, with the sub bonus to XP, and ended up being a little away from v10.

Your experience is not the norm, it's the outlier, and frankly is likely either due to you grinding or spending weeks and weeks in pvp/vet dungeons to get that extra little bit of XP. The OP is right in line where the super majority of people finish gold, and his complaints are legitimate since craglorn was meant to take you from v10-v14, and although it's group content and the OP wants do to solo content, even if you were to complete all of lower and upper craglorn right now you'd get maybe a full vet level of XP instead of 4. ZOS obliterated the XP in craglorn to the point where doing a group quest for maybe an hour will award you 5k xp - you might as well just go kill 10 mobs and get the same reward. Hardly anyone wants to run the content in craglorn because the rewards aren't any where near worth the effort, so if the OP wanted to try and do the content designed for his current vet level, he could wait hours and hours to find other people interested in running it. That's a problem, and it's an artificial one created by the devs horrible decisions on how to treat XP. The XP for vet levels is broken, has been for many months, there are dozens of threads on it, and the CMs like Gina and Jessica clearly are being told they aren't allowed to comment on it.

As to the OP, unfortunately, the best way to level right now and finish off the last 4 vet levels you need is to grind mobs. It's about 4 times as fast as the XP/hour you'd get questing, and about 6 or 7 times faster than the XP you get pvp'ing. There are a few delves in cyrodiil that have great mob density and respawn timers, you just have to run the risk of getting ganked. You can also fight over grind spots in your last cadwell's gold zone. If you don't want to grind, you'll probably have to do the cyrodiil daily quest hubs every day.

I said i'm on vet8 in vet7 zone. I was vet2 in vet1 zone half a year ago. And now i'm still 1lvl overleveled. I've killed some WBosses several times, but it's not an "omg grinding".
Vet ranks and zones designed so you must be vr12 when you finish Cadwell's Gold.
I forgot to do Public Dungeon achievements in every public dungeons in vet zones. I came back and lose half a hour on each of them, cause of other people.

Wrong. Vet 12 didn't even exist before lower craglorn was released, months after the game was launched with silver and gold. Gold is designed to take you to v10, and by all accounts, this is where a super majority of people end up if they go through all of the content.

Unfortunately, it's not an exaggeration on my part as the people who tend to take the kind of tone you do in these threads do in fact make such claims. Look at the post right below yours... I present to the court exhibit A as evidence.

strange...i'm almost v3 and didnt even get to start second zone on second faction in silver..
check u did all quests cause the achievement the game gives u on x number of quests per zone completed is not even close to the real number of quests out there..
for example ,auridon asks for about 30 something for the achievement, and i did more than 40 quests there.

We're all grinding. Most people just take the past less interesting.

But if you're a VR1 and take half of your XP from quests and half of your XP from grinding denser VR5 mobs, you'll not only level more effectively, you'll also get a lot of good gear and gold in the process.

Linear play is only seeing the ball and the goal. Strategic play is seeing everything on the field and choosing the best path for the ball to reach the goal.
