How do I know my Characters were copied to PS4/Xbox One?

I bought both the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game, do I have to do anything else or were they automatically copied at the time of purchase? If they were not copied, how do I copy them? How long do I have to copy characters?

They are going to copy them at some point between now and the release.

They haven't said when that will be.

We don't have to do anything.

I think the account copying time limit ended awhile ago didn't it? I think I read that somewhere. When did you buy them?

They will let us know when they are going to do the copy. Before the copy make sure to take all of your things out of any guild bank and mails because these items will not copy over unless they are in your inventory or your personal bank.

But basically, your waiting for an email with a code and instructions that will allow you to trigger buying the game and copying your account over

I'm pretty sure that we DO have to do something. Under the account panel there is a "linked accounts" option that is currently disabled. Remember, they can't magically guess and copy character data for one random PNS/ Live account out of millions. As of now the feature is disabled, though we will have to enter our console ID tag at some point.

I have no idea when that "point" will occur, however.

Did you sign up before June 30th 2014? If so then ZOS will send you an E-mail "heads up" when they are going to copy over your account so that you can prepare. And by prepare this mainly means spend all your crowns before you lose them on console.

And spend your accumulated crowns if you have any because crowns won't transfer either. From what I know we will be warned ahead of time so we can prepare. I will be irked if we aren't because I haven't spent my crowns yet.
