Creepy moments

I'm not talking about jumpscares you got from an enemy you dind't saw or a boss battle, I'm talking about those eerie moments when you say "thats so creepy".

I was talking with the NPC in this place and when I turned around... this... first time in the game I thought "how creepy".

I'm doing Rivenspire right now as part of Cadwell's Silver. Haven't come across that yet. What particular location was that? I'm at NOrthpoint now.

Imho, this is the creepiest scene of the whole game!! I was almost scared to death when I saw it the first time, I think I must have had chills for hours! Even the next few times when I've done this quest it still was creepy although I've known what's coming. Soon I'll be there again..

I think what makes it so extremely creepy is the "before - after" difference..

They should make more of this. Doesn't even have to be creepy things, just legitimately unexpected things.

I totally agree with this. There is often a good sense of tension in the game when one confronts mobs or bosses, and the quests/stories, along with the lore, are very well done. What the game lacks to a certain degree is a sense of "dread", meaning a visceral, sickening sense of doom, a la Dark Souls. You generally "see" what's coming ahead in this game, and most of the time you initiate the battles. What the game could use is more areas in which the enemies are not obvious, but hidden away in dark nooks and crannies. And the stories and clues you encounter are subtle and horrifying . . .

How about that quest in Grahtwood where you find out what really happened to the philandering bard? I thought the actual discovery moment and location was pretty creepy.

totally agree with you,i think the best moments of tension are when u get to fight big bosses in quests and delves.
i actually enjoy these moments so much, that i never really rush to kill them..i always hit them and let them stand on their feet, before hitting them again, these are the best moments !!

It's a shame that normally bosses are so easy that the tension disappears when I kill them in 5 seconds. :P

    That's kinda eerie.
But for me, I haven't had a creepy moment in any elder scrolls since Morrowind.

Those voodoo statues and such in caves with the whispering background. That's what I call creepy.
Meeting a Daguth inside one of them, those guys are nothing but creepy.

Also in Morrowind, hearing battle music but cant find where the enemy is at, that too is creepy.

Nothing in this game has felt creepy to me. It could be played by 8 year olds. Perhaps I've gone numb, playing horror FPS games with a pulse of 50 bpm.
