This. I don't need more slots, I'd just like to be able to access the 10 I already have without needing to rely on weapon-swapping to do it.

@Divinius @c.p.garrett1993_ESO But all 10 can't be used with a single weapon configuration; you must switch weapons.

So are you proposing 10 per weapon swap, 10 that can be used at any time, or 10 that still maintain the same weapon lockout as is now, just without swapping to see the skills. I'm confused.

I would be ok with it being made seemless to where you can opt to seperate keybinds to then not have weapon swap failure be a cause of failure by having it more automatic; as well as if you have a toggle on one bar, have it count for both; but still the same number of abilities we have now.

I'm suggesting that weapon-swapping should ONLY swap your weapon. Give me 10 slots, that are always available, that I can NOT swap. 10 fixed slots, no swapping. Instead of two sets of 5 that you have to swap between.

Weapon-specific skills would just be grayed-out when you aren't wielding the appropriate weapon (as they are now if you put a skill on your bar that doesn't match the equipped weapon).

Ideal setup would be to get rid of the Quickslot wheel entirely and have one slot on each bar for one consumable (all cooldown rules still apply)

    Five combat slots plus Ultimate

One passive slot that will still provide whichever When Slotted ability it has, and can only be viewed/changed while looking at your skills.

Because we all have that one combat button we never click anyway, right? May as well free it up for an actual combat skill.

I voted 0 but I could get on board if it was one more slot that was specifically for toggles only.

I would like to know what is hard in the choices we make on abilities?

As for me, the only hard thing is that i have to put those certain skills to skillbar, always the same per class with litle variation. There are abilities that i would love to have as spice and utility nut i always have to drop those cool ones to get the effective ones, thats the hard part for me.

No. More ability slots would make us stronger players. You can't change math.

The only option I see this as a good one would be if you can select to have your first weapon set also set for the second one.
So Skillbars are united, because switching would only make sense for abilities.

But that also would just make more key mapping effort and we already have enough. I don't see a reason to change the running system.
Everybody can has a unique character but this one will always have one counter option.

not that it matters, there will be no more slots, the devs have said this so many times now, its not even funny.

If you have an ability that can't be used with the active weapon it would just be grayed out.

I just hate managing the switching between bars.
I also hate how some abilities can be carried over but summons can not.
Switch bars and they end. Inconvenient to lose 2 slots on both bars for summons, since I play with light armor and quite literally NEED these summons to survive.

I am glad weapon have skills tied to them too. On PC for keyboard it wouldn't be hard to show all 10 skills at once even. They could just have one key assigned to each of the 10 skills and if they press it it auto activates and auto swaps weapons. Would probably be impossible on consoles due to limited buttons. Consoles usually require a tab, hold, or toggle of buttons to match keyboard in speed.

I like my controller so if ZoS makes it happen, I just hope they remember some PC players are going to be controller centric. So can't be one global system.

What I want more is saved build slots.

The intended purpose of having only five slots is to make the game easier to translate to consoles. Nothing more. There's no reason PC should be gimped like that.

Plus all this does is make a bunch of abilities obsolete. You're never going to have the second best ability on your bar when you've only got 5 slots. With more slots, there's actual reasons to take some of these abilities.
